Popis: | A comprehensive marketing research study utilizing focus group and survey research was conducted in Mexico to investigate family planning awareness attitudes and practices among middle and lower class urban and semiurban men and women aged 17-35. For the focus group research 44 sessions were conducted with 6 to 10 participants per group stratified by sex age marital status contraceptive use socioeconomic status and residence. Drawing on the findings from the group sessions a standard home interview survey was carried out among a random sample of 2201 men and women living in marital or consensual union who resided in localities of greater than 2500 inhabitants. This paper summarizes the several volumes of detailed findings produced by this study. (authors) |
