Popis: | DCVC, but not DCVMP, inhibits lipoyl dehydrogenase activity of isolated rat liver mitochondria and glutathione reductase activity of rat liver cytosol. DCVC can be degraded to pyruvic acid and ammonia by the cytosolic fraction of rat liver. Metabolism of DCVC by the cytosolic fraction appears necessary for inhibition of glutathione reductase activity. |
