Popis: | The alkaline phosphatase activity of the neutrophile leucocytes has been determined in rabbits after infusion of large doses of cyanide. A rapid decline in the activity was observed with a return to normal values after 3–4 weeks. At the point of maximal suppression the activity could be restored to normal values by infusion of zinc acetate. |
