Popis:	In contrast to the recent reports on catalytic hydroboration of amides to amines with pinacolborane (HBpin), a simple catalyst-free and solvent-free method for the hydroboration of a variety of amides has been realized. To get the mechanistic insights, DFT calculations have been performed.
