Biotechnology and sustainability seem to represent, to a first look at modern building opposite sides of the quality of life and the struggle for survival of the planet. Solidarity composed, or at least should compose the ethical-political and legal basis for all public initiatives in the preservation of life, security and freedom of present and future generations. Joining sustainability and solidarity highlight the common purpose of maintaining harmony and stability of natural resources, according to constitutional provisions in force (article. 3 and 225 of the Higher Law, 1988). Thus, the common survival of living beings due to government measures combined with biotechnological innovations of individuals (entrepreneurs, NGO'S, universities, researchers etc.), all segments embedded in the construction of the "Future We Want". The initial sketch on paper, on January 10, 2012, the results for analysis by the United States in Rio +20, the UN Conference on Sustainable Development, the apex body intended to represent the peoples (UN), focus new challenges in implementation, acceleration and strengthening of a "green" economy to eradicate poverty and extreme poverty on the planet. |
