The religion of Islam places great emphasis on unity and harmony and unity of the Ummah and this is one of the salient features of the religion of Muhammad. The role that mosques have played in the formation and consolidation of the Islamic State is undeniable. And for this unity, the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) laid the foundation of the Prophet's Mosque. Then not only were all the problems were solved but also activities carried out to solve all the problems. And mosques played an indelible role in resolving all the political issues of the new state, including the role of Parliament House for legislation, the role of the Supreme Court for judicial decisions, and the role of schools, colleges and universities for education. The center of trade and agriculture, the Chamber of Commerce and Agriculture House, the center of defense strategy, the Prophet's Mosque was made the center and axis for the Muslim Ummah. This is the identity of unity and this is the beginning of unity of the nation. When the effects of unity, brotherhood and fraternity appeared on the courtyard of Masjid Nabavi, this character left an indelible mark on the historical humanity. In modern times, despite the large number of mosques, anarchy and chaos in society and various crimes, be they economic, social, moral or sexual, are becoming commonplace and then widespread misunderstandings are being spread, hatreds are becoming commonplace. Are going Extremism and intolerance are on the rise. Due to which the society is disintegrating day by day. In such an era, mosques need to play an important role. And then the voices rising from the pulpit and mihrab also stopped. Therefore, mosques should once again play their role so that every inactive person becomes active and every worshiper becomes a cause of conscious Muslims and unity of the Ummah. People of different sects and religions should also be invited to show open heart and openness like a calm ordinary Muslim. And in modern times, the role of mosques should be mobilized again and again for the unity of the Ummah and for the betterment of the Ummah. |
