Fruit production in municipality Bela Crkva is essential for local people. Bela Crkva has 458 registrated of farms dealing with fruit production on an area of 833 hectares where over 95% of large-scale production. Representation of apple production on 437 hectares, 18 hectares of pear and cherry on the 20 ha. Followed are agrotehnical practice in orchards of apples, pears, cherries throughout the year. Specifically for 2014 is production of average rainfall. Cloudy, rainy and moderately warm weather throughout the year have caused the occurrence in some regions and the invasion of pests and extensive spread of diseases which were unprecedented in recent times. The decrease in yield was characteristic of all plantations. The poor quality of the fruit was especially characteristic of cherries and pear. Protection of plantations was the main factor of yield due to increased humidity and moderate temperatures. Most agrotehnical practice were carried out in apple orchards, then the pear orchards and the cherries. Total energy consumption was highest in apple orchards and pear. When cherries total energy consumption was similar. |
