Popis:	We describe a case of posttraumatic diaphragmatic laceration with unusual late sequelae of presentation. Ventilatory and gastrointestinal compromises are known complications of such herniae; but delayed cardiac tamponade without an intrapericardial component of such a hernia has not been reported so far.
