Popis: | The aim of this study was to explore the relationship between local ischaemic preconditioning and the effectiveness of fractionated radiotherapy. The rat serum, bone marrow, and small intestine were examined for oxidative changes induced by total body irradiation with gamma rays with applied local ischaemic preconditioning immediately before irradiation. Serum concentrations of TBA-RS examined 12 hours after the last irradiation did not reveal any differences among the groups of animals analyzed.
