Popis: Pes cavus is a complex deformity with various components. The etiology is multifaceted, which can result in changes to the rearfoot, forefoot, or both areas. Proper patient evaluation is crucial to understanding the deformity and its management. Various soft-tissue and osseous procedures may be used in the reconstruction of the symptomatic cavus foot deformity. This article discusses the clinical and radiographic findings of pes cavus, as well as the various etiologies of this challenging foot deformity and the surgical principles of its correction.
