Popis: | Arrhythmogenic right ventricular (RV) dysplasia consists of a dilatation of the right ventricle with a reduction of RV ejection fraction with fibrofatty replacement of the RV myocardium in the face of a well-preserved left ventricular systolic function. Arrhythmogenic RV dysplasia, which is a cause of sudden unexpected death, has been reported from many geographic areas, including the United States, Europe, and the Far East. This case report presents the first case of arrhythmogenic RV dysplasia in an American Indian (Native American) patient. |
