Popis: First, we investigate the approximation of mainly bathymetric data with LR B-spline surfaces and look into different aspects of the approach (Sec.4.1). Second, we report on a comparison of different methods (e.g., kriging, RBF approximation and LR B-spline approximation) in the approximation of rainfall data (Sec.4.2) and the analysis of topological changes in GIS data (Sec.4.3)
