Popis: | Collaboration among nurses can lead to improved education and clinical practice and increased opportunities for nursing research. Although numerous descriptions of interinstitutional collaboration among nurses can be found, many projects are limited in scope or purpose. A more comprehensive approach can facilitate excellence in practice, education, and research throughout the community. By pooling professional resources, nurses across organizational lines can achieve common goals and reduce costs associated with services and programs. The purpose of this article is to describe an interinstitutional nursing model that supports collaboration while promoting standards of excellence. |
