Popis:	Listeria monocytogenes is a Gram-positive, rod-shaped, non-spore-forming bacterium that is an important foodborne bacterial pathogen for humans worldwide, with high mortality rates. Here, we report the complete genome sequence of a Listeria monocytogenes strain that was isolated from kale salad in Canada.
