Popis: | Aim: To investigate whether atrial natriuretic peptide (ANP) level is altered in polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS) patients with clomiphene citrate (CC) resistant and whether it correlates with insulin sensitivity markers. Methods: Serum ANP, insulin and glucose levels and the homeostasis model assessment for insulin resistance index (HOMA-IR) were evaluated among a group of PCOS women with CC resistance (n = 40). A control group (n = 30) was selected from healthy women with regular menstrual cycles.
