Popis: | A myoelectric control system is one in which the operation of a device is controlled by the electric potential produced by voluntary contraction of a muscle. These systems have been used mainly for the control of artificial limbs. Early design of the control systems was empirical, but recent work has provided some theoretical basis for predicting their performance. This should lead to improvements in existing systems and make feasible the development of more complex prostheses. |
