| Popis: | Mice were given double-stranded RNA from a fungal source either in saline or emulsified in Freund's complete adjuvant. In each case the animals produced antibodies specific for double-stranded RNA. Mice immunized in this way were as well protected against infection with encephalomyocarditis virus following a subsequent injection of double-stranded RNA as were nonimmunized mice. |
