Popis: | C70 cycloadducts with sulfur–fullerene bond were previously unknown. We discovered that the sonochemical reaction of C70 with 1,2-hydroxythiols selectively produces the single 5,6-isomer of C70–1,4-oxathiane. The C70•– radical anion was detected with EPR as a key intermediate of the reaction. |
