Popis: | In this paper, a pilot study of using robots in teaching native language is presented. The goal of the study is to find activities with educational robots that can be used in everyday classes. Robots were used as a tool to check the understanding of the read stories in two activities: as actors in a role play and as vehicles in a race. The technical performance analysis and the questionnaire showed that the robot race can be used in everyday classes since: (a) it checks the knowledge about the stories, (b) promotes team work and team spirit, (c) the activity is short with no technical problems, (d) it could be performed by one teacher, and (e) all pupils gave positive grades and comments about the race. |
