Popis: This thesis is about the everyday activities and roles of Chinese mothers of children with disabilities. This mixed methods study explored the everyday occupations of East Asian immigrant mothers and Chinese mothers living in Australia, Singapore and Taiwan, and found that their valued activities and roles were largely influenced by the Chinese culture. This project interviewed immigrant mothers and also involved a survey which captured mothers' caregiving occupations, their challenges, their adaptability, well-being and their supports. The findings reveal the ways of how mothers of children with disabilities could be better supported to improve their participation in health promoting activities and achieve better well-being.
