Popis: | Pollen Typhae total flavone (PTF), the extract from Pollen Typhae, is reported to enhance glucose uptake in C2C12 myotubes in vitro, but the convincing evidence is lacking in vivo. In this study, PTF ameliorated insulin resistance and dyslipidemia, but failed to significantly increase body weight in type 2 diabetic rats induced by high-fat diet and low-dose streptozotocin. |
