Popis:	The article reveals the main legal mechanisms on protecting and safekeeping the cultural heritage. Priorities for the development of culture in accordance with the Long-Term Strategy for the Development of Ukrainian Culture – the Reform Strategy are emphasized. The main directions of the legislative drafting on improving the cultural heritage protection in Ukraine are analyzed.
