Popis: There are somewhat contradicting reports to what extend the total emission of PCDD and PCDF in flue gas can be monitored by collecting the particulate phase only. A defined separation of PCDD/PCDF adsorbed on airborne particulates and present the real gas phase load of these compounds in flue gas is difficult to achieve. A domination of PCDD/PCDF in the flue gas condensate and/or the impinger absorption as compared to the dust collected by e.g. glass fiber filter has been reported. The authors have tried to specify the distribution of the PCDD/PCDF between the following parts of a sampling train: I) glass fiber filter; II) flue gas condensate; and III) absorption in methoxyethanol.
