Pour une accessibilité de l’information aux personnes autistes : un site Web sur les services offerts dans leur communauté. Cas de la minorité francophone du Sud-Est du Nouveau-Brunswick

Popis: Actuellement, l’information nécessaire aux personnes avec un trouble du spectre de l’autisme (TSA) est très dispersée d’une part, difficile d’accès d’autre part, et très souvent les sites Internet sont complexes et des liens sont non opérationnels. La recherche de soutien exige ainsi beaucoup de temps et d’énergie de la part des parents et demeure inaccessible pour certaines personnes ayant un TSA. Afin de renforcer la participation sociale des personnes ayant un TSA, un nouvel outil rendant accessible l’information relative aux services de soutien disponibles dans la communauté pour les personnes ayant un TSA, leur famille et proche aidant, est ici présenté. L’outil conçu dans un cadre collaboratif, de recherche-action participative, permet d’optimiser le temps et l’information, répondant au principe du droit à l’information des personnes à besoins spéciaux. Il permet de connaître la disponibilité des services, et d’être tenu au courant des changements et nouveautés à travers l’abonnement à un bulletin d’information. Il est structuré afin de présenter des informations d’une façon facile et rapidement accessible, et permet de faire une mise à jour des données facilement et rapidement, évitant leur obsolescence. L’outil permet aux utilisateurs d’évaluer les services, offrant ainsi la possibilité aux chercheurs d’avoir un retour d’information pouvant servir aux organismes concernés et aux décideurs, afin d’effectuer des réajustements de l’offre de services en fonction des besoins réels des familles et des personnes ayant un TSA, répondant au besoin d’adaptation.
At present, the information necessary for people with ASD is very scattered on one hand, difficult to access on the other hand, and very often Websites are complex, and links may not be operational. The search for support requires a lot of time and energy on behalf of the parents and still inaccessible to certain people with ASD. To strengthen the social participation of people with ASD, we present here a new tool making accessible the information related to the available support services in the community for people with ASD, their family and caregivers. The tool designed in a collaborative frame, of participative research-action, allows optimizing time and information, answering the principle of the right for information for people with special needs. It allows to know the availability of services, and to be kept informed about changes and novelties through the subscription to a news bulletin. It is structured so as to present information in an easy and quickly accessible way and to make an eventual update of the data also easy and quick and avoid their obsolescence. The tool allows users to estimate the services, offering the possibility to the researchers to have an information feedback which can be of use to the concerned organizations and to the decision-makers, to make adjustments of the range of services according to the real needs for families and people with ASD, answering the need for adaptation.
