Tupinambis longilineus is endemic to Amazonia, with its distribution restricted to the interfluvium Purus���Tapaj��s, in southern Amazonia, occurring in Brazil and Peru (Fig. 7). In Brazil it is known from the states of Par��, Amazonas, and Rond��nia. Tupinambis longilineus is terrestrial and diurnal, inhabits terra firme forest, also at its border with disturbed areas, where is found on the ground (��vila-Pires 1995; Lima & Pimenta 2008; Moraes et al. 2016).
