Popis: A problem programmer was designed to control the presentation of an extensive set of problems that require, for their solution, the identification of one or more critical attributes of a stimulus display. Problems having more than one attribute relevant to the criterion correspond to conjunctive and “disjunctive” problems frequently used in the study of concept identification. Preliminary study has indicated that a wide variety of heuristic deficits can be detected using the procedures described.
