The present article has the objective of analyzing the management performance with two sheltered projects denominated as residents in the Vila Flores Cultural Association, responsible for the occupation of the urban area of the Floresta neighborhood in the city of Porto Alegre/RS, to mitigate various social problems caused by the deterioration of the local manufacturing cluster, in terms of job supply, income generation, socioeconomic and cultural development. To do so, the methodology used was the case study, through data collection through in-depth interview, using a semi-structured script with open questions, elaborated from the theoretical approaches about the themes of creative cities and social innovation. Members of the Vila Flores cultural association were interviewed: they are the cultural manager, the patrimonial manager and two resident projects. Considering the research of qualitative approach, through in-depth interviews, marked by a script of semi-structured questions. Among the results, it was possible to observe that both the organizational format of the Vila Flores collective, as well as the actions developed, are in part related to social innovation indicators. In addition, the collective has a social and cultural position consistent with the theoretical reflections about the cities and creative territories. |
