| Popis: | Gonionotophis brussauxi (Mocquard, 1889) Figure 28C Gonionotus brussauxi Mocquard, 1889: 146. Type locality: Loudinia-Niari, Niari River, Republic of Congo. Gonionotus vossi Boettger, 1892: 418. Type locality: “ Kamerun ”. Simocephalus insignis Chabanaud, 1917b: 369. Type locality: “ Congo: Ogooùé ”. Gonionotophis brussauxi prigoginei Laurent, 1956a: 107. Type locality: Kamituga (Kivu). Distribution. This species ranges from Cameroon to the Democratic Republic of the Congo. In Equatorial Guinea it has been recorded from Río Muni at Monte Alén National Park (Lasso et al. 2002) (Map 32C). Comments. Type species of the genus Gonionotophis. Specimens examined. One specimen. Río Muni: Monte Alén National Park (in the EBD collection, without EBD number).
