| Popis: | The purpose of this retrospective cross-sectional study was to explore the clinical and pathogenic significance of vitamin D and its relationship with interferon-α (IFN-α) in Chinese patients with primary Sjögren’s syndrome (pSS). In our study, 32 pSS patients and 50 healthy controls were included. Serum vitamin D and IFN-α concentrations were determined by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) and analyzed with the correlations of EULAR Sjögren’s Syndrome Disease Activity Index (ESSDAI). The multiple linear regression analysis of 25-OH vitamin D3 level with ESSDAI scores in pSS patients was also investigated.
