This presentation gives an overwiev for the exact state observation. Different problems are analyzed and disccused. The structures of asymptotic estimators (KF) and observers (Luenberger) are recalled. The theory of the exact state observers (non-asymptotic) for initial and final state reconstruction is presented. The structure and the rules of the integral observers with minimal norm are derived. The general theory of an optimal observer in function Hilbert spaces is recalled. The importance of consideration of both the output and the input measurement disturbances for optimal observation is pointed. The use of the exact state observers in on-line mode is explained. The different applications of the exact state observers are presented (evaporator, distillation column, PDE model). |
