| Popis: | Ten cases of liver abscess are reviewed. Mortality and morbidity remained high even though seven cases were diagnosed preoperatively. Failure to improve mortality and morbidity was related to delayed diagnosis, culture technic, and surgical approach to abscess cavity. On the basis of our findings, means to correct these deficiencies are proposed. |
