This presentation describes the NASA's MODIS Terra Science Investigator-led Processing System. This system has produced over 22 years of high-quality MODIS science data products starting soon after the MODIS instrument was launched on NASA's Terra satellite in late 1999. The hardware and software archictecture of the data system is described as well as lessons learned from generating a large number of MODIS science products that are used by the Earth Science research and applications community. |
