Popis:	The subject of this paper is to study the abrasion resistance of low carbon plates welded with three types of electrodes for welding with different chemical composition. In a test of wear resistance, the basic change is characterized by decreasing the mass of object for a certain number of frictions per unit of time. The process of wear is a gradual change in the dimensions of the friction body resulting in separation from the surface of a part of the material and in the appearance of residual deformation. When examining the wear resistance of an object, a number of factors such as the type of lubricant, the structure and the properties of the base material. © 2020 Taylor & Francis Group, London.
