Popis: Apparatus comprising a metal hydride store for operating an exothermic hydrogen consumer. Starting coupled fuel cell systems + metal hydride based hydrogen storage systems, especially (but not only) at low temperatures down to -30 ° C. Also, other chemically-based hydrogen storage systems (eg, LOHCs, ammonia, methanol, or formic acid) need a cold-start capability given by this invention.
