The paper examines the process of formation and propagation of a dust and gas cloud in a blind drift during a drilling and blasting operation. The length of zone of the active-stage detonation product propagation is determined. A formula for determining the distance of transport of dust particles by ventilation flow is obtained. It was found that the transfer distance of quartz particles with an equivalent diameter of less than 13 µm is practically unchanged. With the horizontal movement of fine-dispersed dust particles, an increase in particle diameter leads to an increase in the turbulent diffusion coefficient. |
