Popis: | Summary One hundred and forty-four patients with incomplete abortion underwent evacuation of the uterus by suction (aspiration) curettage. In uninfected cases when the uterus was the size of a 12-week pregnancy or less the procedure was rapid, effective and safe. In the presence of uterine infection, tissue was frequently adherent to the uterus and suction evacuation by itself was only successful in half the patients. |
