Popis: | Photodynamic therapy was used to treat a patient with recurrent laryngotracheal papillomatosis who had a history of systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE). At the time of photoactivation, the patient's SLE was in remission for 2 years. Postoperatively, the patient was not compliant in avoiding sunlight exposure and developed photosensitive skin reactions of his face and hands. In addition, he had clinical activation of his SLE following that exposure. © 1993 Wiley-Liss, Inc. |
