Popis: | Summary The authors have compared the therapeutic constructs of six authorities in alaryngeal speech. Three major and one minor type of post-laryngectomy speech are described, methods of air intake are reviewed, and therapy procedures are contrasted. Reasons for using an artificial larynx are given. An approach which meets the needs of the person is recommended. |
