Popis: | A fifteen year old boy with typical features of childhood Cushing's disease due to adrenal hyperplasia was treated by bilateral adrenalectomy and transplantation of one half of an adrenal gland to the thigh. The autotransplant has functioned well, and the patient appears to be completely cured of all physical and laboratory features of the disease while receiving no hormonal replacement therapy. |
