FUTURE MUSICAL ART TEACHERS' READINESS FOR SELF-DEVELOPMENT IN VOCAL AND PEDAGOGICAL WORK FORMATION

Popis: The article highlights the necessity to increase the level of future musical art teachers’ profes­sional training at the present stage of higher education development, in particular their readiness for self-development in vocal and pedagogical work formation. Based on the analysis of theoretical sources on the research problem, it has been found that the development of a personality is the most effective in the process of self-development, which results in the necessary professional qualities formation; a definitive analysis of the concepts «future musical art teachers’ self-development in vocal and pedagogical work» and «future musical art teachers’ readiness for self-development in vocal and pedagogical work» has been made. The actuality of directing the higher education work to training the teachers who are able to assess their professional capabilities and on this basis to form a program of their own self-development and self-improvement has been grounded. The purpose of the article is to substantiate the importance of future musical art teachers’ readiness for self-development in vocal and pedagogical work formation, to actualize a subject-personal approach as a theoretical determinant of achieving the effectiveness of the process mentioned. Methodology. The methodological basis of the study is: general philosophical principles on the development of a personality; philosophy of art education; conceptual ideas of a specialist’ professional pedagogical training; epistemological bases of scientific knowledge; general scientific and pedagogical approaches of the modern theory of the educational process in higher education institutions; basic principles of psychological and pedagogical science on the factors of a personality’s development, the theory of development and self-development of a personality’s professional qualities. The theoretical basis for solving this problem is the subject-personal approach, the essence of which is an interconnected system of scientific ideas that provides the understanding of self-development as a musical art teacher’s fundamental ability to be the subject of his work and direct it to self-preparation for self-development in vocal and pedagogical work in terms of personal growth by taking into account the personal position of each of the participants in the educational process. Scientific novelty is that the essence of the concepts «future musical art teachers’ self-development in vocal and pedagogical work» and «future musical art teachers’ readiness for self-development in vocal and pedagogical work» has been elaborated; the importance of actualization of the subject-personal approach as a theoretical determinant of achieving the effectiveness of this training has been grounded. Conclusions. It has been concluded that the actuality of studying and solving the problem of future musical art teachers’ readiness for self-development in vocal and pedagogical work formation is conditioned by its theoretical and practical significance for future specialists’ training, the need of modern society for the competitive teachers focused on their continuous self-development and self-improvement. As a result of the research the essence of the concepts «future musical art teachers’ self-development in vocal and pedagogical work» and «future musical art teachers’ readiness for self-development in vocal and pedagogical work» has been elaborated; the theoretical basis of ensuring the effectiveness of future musical art teachers’ readiness for self-development in vocal and pedagogical work formation has been grounded – the subject-personal approach determining the need to involve students into their self-development in vocal and pedagogical work and that is based on the recognition of the individual as a fundamental concept of pedagogical education and the subjective nature of students’ life – the factor of their self-determination, self-formation, self-development and self-realization. The creation of a favorable educational environment in the higher education institution for future musical art teachers’ self-development in vocal and pedagogical work, working out the technologies for forming future musical art teachers’ readiness in vocal and pedagogical work, this readiness formation in distance learning, the problem of the individual approach to students in the process of preparation for self-development in vocal and pedagogical work are among the perspectives of the further research on this problem.
