Popis: | A review of 204 consecutive patients with ectopic pregnancies admitted to a large general hospital showed an increasing incidence during the period 1974–1980. The most common clinical findings were abdominal pain, irregular vaginal bleeding and abdominal tenderness. Laparoscopy was used frequently to make an early diagnosis and unilateral salpingectomy was the most common operative procedure. Incidence of ectopic pregnancy in the subsequent pregnancy was 9.6% in patients accessible for follow-up. |
