Popis: | Characteristic arterial spin labeling (ASL) perfusion patterns are seen in a wide variety of pediatric brain pathologies, highlighting the potential added value and prognostic role of this magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) perfusion-weighted imaging modality. Our objective is to review the basic clinical physics, technical underpinnings, and artifacts and challenges as we highlight some of the most clinically relevant pathologies to the application of ASL in the pediatric setting. |
