Popis: | This study examined the durability and cold temperature performance of SBS-modified bituminous roofing membranes available in Canada. The paper reports the effect of heat aging on the mechanical and chemical properties of nine commercially available SBS-modified membranes, with emphasis on cold temperature performance. A secondary objective of the work was to gain a better fundamental understanding of the low-temperature failure mechanism of SBS-modified membranes.
