Popis: This article examines the factors of influence of e-commerce on the consumer in modern world. I have identified the motives that drive consumers when they make a purchase. The advantages and disadvantages for modern consumers have been discovered and presented in this article. As a result of the study, data on sales in the e-commerce segment in some leading countries and in our republic were found and studied. The analysis revealed the impact of this type of commerce in the conditions of the COVID-19 pandemic.
