Popis: | The aim of this study was to investigate the fluoride release and fluoride recharge behaviors of two conventional glass-ionomer cements (GICs) and two polyacid-modified composite resins (PMCRs) after exposure to mouthwash and toothpaste. Fluoride released from the materials was measured at 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 7th, 14 th, 21st, and 28th days. At 28th day, the specimens were divided into three groups. Specimens in the control group were stored in deionized water. For the other two groups, the specimens were exposed to 0.05% NaF solution and fluoridated toothpaste for one month. After refluoridation, fluoride amount was measured at 30th, 31 st, 32nd, 36th, 44th, 52 nd, and 60th days. All materials released fluoride. The highest amount of fluoride was obtained during the first 24 hours, and there was a statistically significant difference between the amounts of fluoride released from GICs and PMCRs (p |
