As it was thought that a comparison of the pharmacopeial methods in other countries might be of service in considering the revision of our own national standard, a list of queries relative to pharmacopeial revision was sent to correspondents in eleven of the leading countries of the world. The list of topics included size and personnel of revision commission; frequency of revision; time taken in preparing new edition; tenure of revision commission; and issuing of supplements. Out of the eleven persons addressed, answers came from nine, no responses being received from Greece and Sweden.
