Merkel cell carcinoma is a rare, aggressive cutaneous neuroendocrine cell malignancy with some properties similar to melanoma. The diagnostic excisional biopsy showed lymphovascular invasion and positive microscopic margins. PET/ CT from the mid calvaria to the mid thighs was performed. |
