LETRAMENTOS E DESINFODEMIA: O LEITOR MODELO DO SERVIÇO DE CHECAGEM DE FATOS 'SAÚDE SEM FAKE NEWS' NA PANDEMIA DE COVID-19

Popis: This article analyses the image of a model reader projected by the fact-checking website “Saúde sem Fake News” (Health without Fake News), from the Brazilian’s government Ministry of Health, in the confrontation against disinformation (disinfodemic) about COVID-19. A model reader is a virtual image of a preexisting reader to the one that will effectively deal with the text produced. The theoretical framework is based on studies from Critical Literacy Studies and French Discourse Analysis. The delimited corpus is made up of 85 (eighty-five) visual-verbal textual productions published between January and June 2020, then available to the public and free access was granted through the Ministry’s digital platforms. The descriptive and qualitative analytic approach seeks to investigate whether there was a total recapture, a partial recapture or even no recapture of the checked object, considering the projection of certain competences of the reading public. The concluding findings show that this image ranges between an expert reader and one with little or no consolidated scientific training, concerned with the assertiveness of the fact checked in terms of “true” or “false”, and for whom the service contributes in a timely manner in the promotion of scientific literacy. Com base em pressupostos dos Estudos de Letramentos Críticos e da Análise do Discurso de linha francesa, este artigo tem como objetivo discutir a imagem de leitor modelo – isto é, a imagem virtual de um leitor preexistente àquele que efetivamente lidará com o texto produzido – projetada pelo serviço de checagem de fatos “Saúde sem Fake News”, do Ministério da Saúde (MS) do Governo Federal do Brasil, no enfrentamento à desinformação (desinfodemia) sobre a COVID-19. O conjunto do material é formado de 85 (oitenta e cinco) produções textuais verbo-visuais publicadas entre janeiro e junho de 2020, então disponíveis para acesso público e gratuito em plataformas digitais do MS. A análise de cunho descritivo e qualitativo está voltada a investigar se havia retomada total, retomada parcial ou ainda nenhuma retomada do objeto checado, considerando a projeção de determinadas competências do público leitor. Os resultados apontam para uma imagem de leitor que oscila entre o especializado e aquele com formação científica pouco ou não consolidada, preocupado com a assertividade do fato checado, em termos de “verdadeiro” ou “falso”, e para quem o serviço contribui de maneira pontual na promoção de letramento científico.
