Popis: | The complexity of the nonsurgical endodontic retreatment should be weighed against the benefit of surgical approach. This case report describes uncommon diagnosis and successful nonsurgical endodontic management of mandibular first premolar with a previous history of failed apicoectomy and incomplete root‐end resection using mineral trioxide aggregate and cone‐beam computed tomography. Nonsurgical root canal retreatment can be regarded as a valuable treatment option for teeth with failed apicoectomy and incomplete root‐end resection. Mineral trioxide aggregate can be a material of choice for the reobturation of cases with defective root‐end resection. |
