Popis: | ESR spectra of whole rat tissues have been compared at low and room temperatures, and the effects of temperature variation on line widths and saturation measured. It is concluded that the two major factors accounting for the differences in spectra above and below freezing are line broadening with temperature and change of spin state through 273 K. It is also concluded from the saturation studies that no free radical artefacts are produced by the freezing method. |
